What ShiftWallet is

An app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch for people paid by the hour or by the shift. You log each shift, set your rates once, and it works out what that shift should pay, night hours, overtime and holidays included. When the paycheck arrives, you type in the gross and it tells you whether the two match. Version 2.4 came out on the App Store on 21 October 2026, in English, Spanish, German, French, Dutch and Swedish.

ShiftWallet is written as one word and has nothing to do with Shift Wallet, the money transfer app from Shift Financial Services, or with the SHIFT crypto token.

How the numbers on this site are checked

Every guide links the official sources it relies on, with the date I checked them. The calculators follow those rules and are tested against worked examples before they go up. Where the app does something differently from a calculator, the page says so. US overtime used to be the clearest case, and since version 2.4 the app works it out on the FLSA regular rate, the same way the overtime calculator does.
